Remember, keep bringing in your coins for the coin drive to raise money for Mrs. Ross and her family to help in her battle against Leukemia. As done in the past, any dollar bills put into the jug will deduct that amount from the advisory’s total.
Dress up days for Coming Home are as follows: Today is Jock Vs. Nerd day, tomorrow is Cowboy vs. Cowgirl, Thursday is Dynamic Duo Day, and Friday is Neon Day. Sophomores are selling hats and glasses in an assortment of neon colors!!! Cost is $5.00 for the hat and glasses together. You must wait until Friday to wear them.
The Coming Home Dance is Friday night from 9:00 – 11:30 in the cafeteria. Cost is $5.00. But If you wear your neon hat and glasses to the dance you get in free.
Attention Volleyball players: the Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy will have a 1 Day Spring Try-out on Sunday, March 1st in Midland. Times are as follows: U12-U14 from 1-3 and U15-U18 from 3-5. Don’t miss this 1 day try-out opportunity. The Registration must be completed online prior to coming to the tryout or be there early to register online before tryouts begin. For registrations done online before Sunday, the cost is $35, for those registering on-line that day, the cost is $50. If you’ve been to previous tryouts for the 2014 season, this tryout is free of charge, please bring your tryout t-shirt. There are flyers available in the office for those who are interested.
Seniors: the JOSTENS rep will be here next Wednesday, March 4th, during first lunch in the cafeteria, to deliver senior announcement orders. Please notify your parents that the delivery will be next Wednesday and remember to bring cash or a check payable to JOSTENS for the amount due.
A Brant area family is looking for someone to provide childcare 3-4 days per week from 4:15 – 10:15 for their 7 year old boy who has autism. They are looking for someone 17 or older who has a valid drivers license with reliable transportation. Applicant must have previous babysitting experience and preferably experience working with special needs children. This position would be ideal for someone who is looking to pursue a career in special education, social work, teaching, or early childhood development. If you are interested or know of someone who might be interested, please stop in the office and pick up some information.
