Fire department receives nearly $2,000 in item donations from STC elementary students

St. Charles students (left to right) Brenna Ashton, Liberty Faughnan, Blaze Browne, and Wyatt Young are Fire fighters donation with Tri Township Fire Department Assistant Chief (back, left to right,) Richard Beeler and Chief Pat Harley. The fourth graders donated several items to the fire department last week, including smoke detectors, stuffed animals, tools, and monetary donations. The students received $10 each through the elementary schools Pay It Forward program, and grew their funds by hosting can and bottle drives, selling handmade craft items, and collecting donations.
