AIM 1

MAXIMUM STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

Maximum Student Achievement is the primary aim of St. Charles Community Schools. To insure student success, we have identified critical areas of student achievement that include all curricula. This directs the alignment of resources and provides accountability to stakeholder groups.

To accomplish this aim all students who graduate from STCCS will be able to read, write, speak, listen, use mathematics, think critically, solve problems, and live responsibly as preparation for success in life's roles.

GOALS
  1. Each student reads and comprehends a variety of materials, locates and applies information at grade level or above.

  2. Each student writes, speaks, listens, and uses technology to communicate at grade level or above.

  3. Each student applies mathematical skills to analyze and solve problems at grade level or above.

  4. Each student thinks creatively and analyzes tasks to solve problems at grade level or above.

  5. Each student develops and demonstrates personal responsibility for learning, self-management, and civic responsibility.
