I have lived in St. Charles since 1972 after graduating from Michigan State University. My son and daughter graduated from St. Charles High School. While my children were in high school, I attended many, many athletic events. | |

 In the summer of 2006, Mrs. Bell, Miss Schantz, Miss Schantz's sister and I visited Patricia Polacco's home town. We are standing in front of the meteor that fell in Ms Polacco's front yard. She wrote about it in her book The Meteor. The meteor is now on the family cemetry plot. |
