It is with strong consideration that we have made the decision to continue with our scheduled half day of school for the St. Charles Community School District on Friday, January 12th. The incoming storm at this time is predicted to begin after our 11 am dismissal.
We will monitor the incoming storm, and families will be notified if a decision is made to cancel school. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue to make the best decisions for the safety of our students and staff.
NOTE: Childcare will remain open until 4 pm.
Thanks & Go Bulldogs!

Are you interested in becoming a member of the St. Charles Community Schools Board of Education?
The role of a school board member is crucial in ensuring that the district stays true to its vision and mission. As a board, we work in collaboration with the Superintendent to allocate resources for our students and staff to achieve their goals. Our primary focus is on issues such as policy, academic growth, budget allocation, superintendent performance, and other oversight issues.
Each board member brings their own unique strengths, talents, and abilities to the board. When these are used constructively, we create a synergy that reflects the contributions of each individual member. This role requires a strong passion for education and a commitment of time, assistance, and dedication to the district and the community who voted for you to serve in this role.
If you're interested in joining the St. Charles Board of Education, please refer to the posting below for more information on how to apply for the open seats.

St. Charles Community Schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, due to hazardous road conditions. Childcare will be closed for the day as well.

Mr. King Teaches STC Students Woodworking.
Students start with the basics. They learn safety first. Beginners are then taught the foundation of woodworking and then as their skills increase they are encouraged to make more advanced projects. It is fun to see their creativity and skills improve.
