Shari Hatfield, SISD Nutrition Facilitator, visited the first graders today at St. Charles Elementary School. The students had the opportunity to try a healthy pumpkin dip recipe as part of their “Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds” lesson. The students were then asked to be a “food critic” and rate the dip on a scale of 1-5 for visual appeal, smell, taste, and texture.
