Happy New year and welcome back to the 2023 school year!!! We are so excited to see all the rested and ready to learn faces. We will start the new year off with a small recap of what some students were up to as they prepared for the holidays. Mrs. Coleman‘s class had a fun day of activities, snacks, and a fun musical book exchange. The kids got to have all of their teachers together in the classroom for Miss Melanie’s last day. Miss Melanie has been a fantastic teacher to the children for the last three months and will be missed. They are also very excited to have Mrs. Coleman back when they return from break. The National Honor Society members did some Christmas caroling and gift exchanging to spend some holiday time together.

Due to the upcoming storm the fitness center will be closed Friday, December 23. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Stay safe and warm!!!

Congratulations Mason Hopkins, Connor Fuller, Gavin Guzy, and Hunter Blackledge for placing second at a BPA Competition in Web Design through Saginaw Career Complex.

The 6th graders are learning how Christmas is celebrated around the world. Each student was assigned a different country to research, and they are now teaching the class what they learned with a google slides presentations.
We are thankful to Lane's dad, Mr. Krzyzaniak, for donating wooden ornaments to both classes. The students painted them with their country's flag earlier this week.

The middle/high school robotics team visited the elementary school today. It was an excellent experience for the 6th graders; they got to try it out.

Its always great when graduates and former athletes come back to assist at athletic events. Thank you Addison Stimac, and Joey Gonzales for coming and helping with the competitive cheer meet Thursday night. Addison was a state qualifying cheerleader and is a two time national champion on the Alma College Cheer Team. Joey was an all state track runner and all conference football player and now is on the football team and track team at Alma College!!!! Thank you for giving back to your community.

The sound of children singing is always a heart warming experience. Today elementary students came over to the high shool to carol. It was awesome.
