Varsity quiz bowl started their season today in Vestaburg. The students had 4 matches today and went 3-1 on the day. They ended the day with a comeback with 120 - 110 against Breckenridge. Carter Mason led the day with 50 points, Emily Mueller scored 30, and Aidan Kelley, Clarice Hunt and Audrey Hunt all scored 20 points each on the day.
The JV also competed today. They won their first match 70 - 0, but lost the next three to end the day 1 and 3. Gabe Kelley, Braden Wicke, Justin Sutton and Rebecca Krauss all chipped in points for the bulldog quizzers throughout the day.
The JV and Varsity are back in action again on November 7th against the rest of the conference.

The Class of "2025" is having a bake sale on Tuesday October 25th, 2022 during the Junior Varsity and Varsity girls volleyball games. The proceeds will go toward Prom "2024". Items will be priced from $1.00 to $5.00.

Friday was a great night in Bulldog Stadium as 100 years of football was celebrated. During pre-game former players were invited into the locker room for the pre-game speech, followed by a tunnel consisting of former players and youth players. As the Bulldogs took the field, the past, present, and future of St. Charles Football was on the field as the Marching Band played the fight song. A huge thank you to Shane Thurston for donating the 100 years of football helmet. The former players and families were treated to hot dogs, chips, water, and homemade cookies donated by Mrs. Michelle Gonzales. Thank you to everyone that made this event successful. Also thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Benson for cooking hotdogs and welcoming our guests.

Attention Middle/High School parents and students. Just a reminder tomorrow Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 is a half day for middle/high school only. Parent-Teacher Conferences are from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and 4:00pm to 7:00pm. School will dismiss at 10:55am.
The elementary school staff had a great time at the homecoming parade. They loved seeing the students enjoying every last minute of the homecoming events.
This gentleman who is 86 years old and has had 4 sons that have graduated from STC saw a pack of dawgs in the grocery store today and chatted about old times. ❤️

The excitement is building and students are in full homecoming preparation mode. The MS/HS band welcomed the students into the building this morning, parent volunteers are placing face tattoos on the students, Mrs. Schantz (with the help of some students) is busy organizing pictures for the 100th year of football display, and our Cross Country Team is gearing up to physically RUN the ball the 62 mile distance from Stockbridge to St. Charles (in the St. Charles for safety reasons). Fire up St. Charles....it is going to be a great day!

You can't hide "Bulldog Pride"! As we prepare for the 73rd Homecoming Game and 100 Years of football. The St. Charles Pride Committee has already started decorating. The halls of St. Charles High School are filled with community pride and love for our athletes. GO BULLDOGS!!!!
