Are you interested in becoming a member of the St. Charles Community Schools Board of Education?
The role of a school board member is crucial in ensuring that the district stays true to its vision and mission. As a board, we work in collaboration with the Superintendent to allocate resources for our students and staff to achieve their goals. Our primary focus is on issues such as policy, academic growth, budget allocation, superintendent performance, and other oversight issues.
Each board member brings their own unique strengths, talents, and abilities to the board. When these are used constructively, we create a synergy that reflects the contributions of each individual member. This role requires a strong passion for education and a commitment of time, assistance, and dedication to the district and the community who voted for you to serve in this role.
If you're interested in joining the St. Charles Board of Education, please refer to the posting below for more information on how to apply for the open seats.

Last night, we celebrated the board members at the Board of Education meeting. The students expressed their appreciation by creating homemade cards, letters, and a "sweet" candy gram. In the picture below (from left to right) are Treasurer Stacey Klump, President Angie Lewis, Vice President Mike Roth, and Secretary Marcia Kendall. Trustee Paul Himler is not pictured. Thank you to the entire Board of Education for your commitment to St. Charles Community Schools.

Congratulations to Clarice Hunt. Clarice was selected as a recipient of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship. Clarice was honored at a dinner reception at SVSU Malcolm Field Theater. Great job, Clarice!
