7th/8th Grade ELA students spread love to local Union Court Residents!!!
The 7/8 grade ELA students made Valentines for the residents at Union Court, and for the veterans at the VA Hospital this past week. Students took their time to write sincere messages and some even included some “dad jokes” to hopefully bring smiles to the recipients.

Show Your School SPIRIT!!!
In the hope of increasing student participation at home games, the St. Charles Athletic Association, in partnership with donations from St. Charles Citgo Gas and Oil, will hold a drawing during the 3rd quarter of every varsity home game, (boys or girls) for the remainder of the regular 2023 winter season. Students will receive a ticket upon entering the game, with the winner being announced at the beginning of the third quarter.
Thursday night’s winner was Kyle T.

On Saturday, February 11th, the Individual Wrestling Districts for Division 4 was held in Carson City. Three St. Charles wrestlers competed but only one St. Charles wrestler will advance to the regional competition. Matias Escamilla IV (126), Tyler Reno (138) and Braden Bila (138) all wrestled at Carson City, but Bila,
unfortunately, will be the only Bulldog that will advance to regionals.
Bila went 3-1 for the day, defeating St. Louis, Lakeview and Fulton. He fell short in a 5-4 decision match against Hesperia. Bila's record improved to 35-3 for the season. Regional competition will take place on Saturday, February 18th at Ithaca High School. Tickets can be purchased online at GoFan.

The Middle/High School office staff had a great surprise this afternoon. Mr. Wicke and the 8th grade band came down and played a happy song. What a great way to start the weekend! Thank you Mr. Wicke and students.
