
On Wednesday November 9th, 2022, Athletic Director Leon Larsen was joined by Tyler Dinninger, Jenna Trevillian, Sydney Mose and Olivia Lennox at the MHSAA Leadership Summit held at SVSU. The kids had a great day of interacting with over 200 kids from schools across mid Michigan. A PROUD BULLDOG MOMENT!!!!!!



St. Charles Community School Students have been shining bright in Saginaw County this week first on Sunday and then today. Football players: Brady Robishaw, Connor Eastman, Tyler Zelinko, Hunter Thurston, Boston Hilden, Gavin Burk, Ryan Cornford, and cross country and sideline cheerleader Landry Gomez were accompanied by Athletic/Transportation Director Leon Larsen, Superintendent Mark Benson, and Cross Country Coach Raquel Gomez at the Saginaw County Breakfast For Heroes at the YMCA. The athletes were complimented by many and the school received a note this afternoon saying thank you for sending a group of STC student athletes to our Heroes Appreciation Breakfast and the Veterans Services Office ribbon cutting ceremony at the YMCA in Saginaw. They were so helpful and respectful. They did whatever was asked of them! They did a great job of welcoming our heroes, and their families, engaging in conversations with them, walking with them to the breakfast and thanking them for their service. A PROUD BULLDOG MOMENT!


St. Charles Community School Students have been shining bright in Saginaw County this week. Sunday, six members of our football team: Tyler Zelinko, Gavin Burk, Connor Eastman, Hunter Thurston, Boston Hilden, Brady Robishaw and cheerleader Makayla Zelinko assisted with seating guests at the 20th Annual Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame Banquet. The athletes received many compliments regarding what a great job they did seating the guests. A PROUD BULLDOG MOMENT! Side note: Makayla and Tyler Zelinko are the grandchildren of inductee Joe Zelinko and Boston Hilden is the grandson of inductee Buck Flory!

Proud Bulldog Moment! On Sunday, November 6th, 2022, the 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, and 1965 football teams from St. Charles High School were inducted into the Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame at the 20th Annual Awards Banquet. The hall of fame honors present and former area athletes, coaches, and others who have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics, either individually, or by the virtue of their performance on or in connection with athletic teams representing their high school, community college, four-year college, university, or professional team or sport, or by meritorious effort on behalf of athletes. St. Charles Community School Announces Heisman High School Scholarship School Winners.
Tyler Zelinko and Laina Harger were selected as the Heisman High School Scholarship Winners.
They were selected from an applicant pool of thousands of high school scholar-athletes graduating with the class of 2023, more than 5,700 have been named School Winners in the Heisman High School Scholarship competition awarded by The Heisman Trophy Trust.
The Heisman Memorial Trophy is annually awarded to the most outstanding college football player in the nation. The Heisman High School Scholarship extends the Heisman prestige to our nation’s most esteemed high school seniors by recognizing and rewarding outstanding scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories not only happen on the field, but in their schools and communities. These remarkable young leaders set the example and make a game-changing difference every day, paving the way to greatness for everyone around them. Attention 7th Grade Parents
In accordance with the Michigan Public Health Code, technicians from the SaginawCounty Department of Public Health will be conducting Vision Screening in our school on Thursday, November 10th, 2022. vision screening will be completed on children in, 7 th grade, self-contained Special Ed classes, and any parent or teacher requests in 6 th and 8 th grades.

It's been one hundred years since St. Charles football program started and the 2022 team is the final team to play with an eleven man team. Starting in the fall of 2023 St. Charles will be going to 8 man! Go Bulldogs!!!!!

Student Work Hard And Get Creative At St. Charles Middle/High School. STEM teacher Fran Hunt challenged her students to create a wall marble run that would last for 60 seconds. In this activity, students used recyclable materials to make their wall marble run. This is a great way to learn about physics concepts like kinetic and potential energy. The challenge: Can your marble move through the run for sixty seconds. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.





The performance gym at St. Charles Middle/High School was occupied this morning by juniors and seniors visiting with individuals from the military, colleges, trades, and employers. It was the First Annual Career Fair. Representatives shared the opportunities their respective careers have to offer. It was a huge success and a proud bulldog moment. On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, St. Charles Middle/High School will be hosting a College/Trades/Military Fair for juniors and seniors. The fair will take place in the Performance Gymnasium. Seniors will attend the fair from 8:15 AM until 9:15 AM. Juniors will attend the fair from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. During this time there will be 38 participants available for our students to meet with.
The Performance Gyn is set and ready for the College/Trades/Military Fair.



MSgt Barnett met with students today during lunch to discuss the opportunities that are available with the United States Air Force.
