What a great day! It was fun to have the elementary children parade their costumes in the halls of the Middle/High School. They were amazing!

The sophomores were able to explore different career paths at the MiCareer Quest at SVSU. Students were able to try hands-on activities ranging from trades, medical, agricultural, robotics, and many more.

It was a spooky, quirky, scary night in the performance gym Thursday night . However, no need to worry it was the 7th & 8th grade band dressed in Halloween costumes entertaining their audience at the annual Halloween Concert. It was a great night, listening to students play Halloween songs .
On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, St. Charles Middle/High School will be hosting a College/Trades/Military Fair for juniors and seniors. The fair will take place in the Performance Gymnasium. Seniors will attend the fair from 8:15 AM until 9:15 AM. Juniors will attend the fair from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. During this time there will be 35 participants available for our students to meet with.
College Visit To Central Michigan University, Wednesday, October 26th, Mrs Hart, Mrs. Jordan, and Mrs Hunt were the chaperones for this event.
Students completed an activity in Mr. Henry’s class to see what their gravity is here on earth compared to on other planets! Go Bulldogs!
On Friday, October 28th, St. Charles Elementary School will celebrate Fall Festival hosted by the Parent Leadership Team from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the elementary school. A huge thank you goes to School Board President, Stacey Klump and the Klump Family Centennial Farm for donating pumpkins for the event. Thank you to Mrs. Klump, Mr. Benson, Mrs. Leffel, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Gerding, and her leadership class for going to the pumpkin farm and gathering the pumpkins for the students.
This week in Library, Mrs. Coty had a special visitor read to the kindergarten students.
Fall clean up and fun at the elementary school!! Mr. Henry and a handful of 6th grade students rake the playground, while some 5th grade students take the opportunity to play in the piles.

Our Varsity quiz bowl started their season on Monday, October 24th in Vestaburg. The students had 4 matches and went 3-1 on that day. They ended the day with a comeback with 120 - 110 against Breckenridge. Carter Mason led the day with 50 points, Emily Mueller scored 30, and Aidan Kelley, Clarice Hunt and Audrey Hunt all scored 20 points each on that day.
The JV also competed on Monday. They won their first match 70 - 0, but lost the next three to end the day 1 and 3. Gabe Kelley, Braden Wicke, Justin Sutton and Rebecca Krauss all chipped in points for the bulldog quizzers throughout the day.
The JV and Varsity are back in action again on November 7th against the rest of the conference.
