Hi! I’m Emily, and I’m excited to join St. Charles Community Schools as the new Elementary Behavioral Consultant.

I’ve spent the past four years working with children, educators, and families to support students’ behavioral and emotional development. I’m passionate about creating supportive environments where all students can succeed, and I truly believe in the importance of collaboration and early intervention.

I earned my Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the state of Michigan. I’ve worked in outpatient clinics for children with autism, focusing on building strong relationships, using data-driven strategies, and helping students develop the skills they need to thrive socially and academically.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, getting lost in a good book, and watching the latest TV shows on Netflix. I also like DIY crafts and painting during my free time!

I look forward to meeting the St. Charles students, staff, and families. I am here to support you in any way I can!

Hello, I'm Addison Stimac, and I'll be teaching 4th-grade! As a proud alumnus of St. Charles, I'm thrilled to return to my hometown to teach.

I graduated from Alma College with a degree in elementary education. Since childhood, I've had a passion for helping others, which I cultivated through sports clinics and volunteering. Through these volunteer opportunities and long-term substitute teaching positions in surrounding districts, I have confirmed that working with kids and helping them grow academically is what I love to do.

I feel very fortunate to continue my teaching career where my educational journey began, and I look forward to an exciting school year. Go Bulldogs!

Hello, Bulldog families! My name is Tina Lafrance. As a proud graduate of St. Charles myself, I’m thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade at St. Charles Community Schools this year.

Over the past few years, I have gained experience working in various classrooms throughout the district. I began as a substitute teacher in 2019 and, most recently, taught at the middle school level during this past school year. I feel privileged to be teaching again in the district this year.

My husband and I are raising our four boys here in St. Charles, all of whom attend school in the district. I’ve also had the pleasure of serving as secretary for the St. Charles Youth Football Program for the past four years. When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me at STC sporting events, reading a good book, crocheting, or visiting the beach.

I’m so excited to be part of your child’s journey this year and look forward to an amazing school year together!

Our 2025 elementary summer Jump Start program was out of this world! 🚀✨

Many people think that attending "Summer School" isn't suitable for them, but as shown in these pictures, the "Jump Start" program provides a summer chance to improve skills while enjoying time with friends in a school setting. It enables our students to stick to a schedule, have fun with staff and peers, and continue learning throughout the year.

Our staff had an amazing time exploring space with our students. From crafting straw rockets and alien puppets to creating dazzling Galaxy Jars and Earth piñatas, the fun never stopped. Our young astronauts also boosted their reading, writing, and math skills, all while having a blast and reading every day! 📚

A huge thank you to our incredible summer staff: Amy Schultz, Rachel Levan, Tonya Keilitz, Valerie Housey, Shelly Meier, Jennifer Prince, Nathan Swain, and Addison Stimac! They all made this year's Jumpstart program a stellar success! 🌟

Enjoy the video below showcasing all of the "hard work" that was done during this year's program.
