Fifth-grade teacher Mr. Rousseau invited his grandfather, former St. Charles Superintendent Joseph Rousseau, to his classroom this week.
Mr. Joe Rousseau taught the students a funny new language and gave a fun lesson on the power of observation. He also shared his life's story as an educator, counselor, principal, superintendent, and department director at SVSU. Visiting St. Charles brought back many fond memories of his time in the district as an administrator, and he was immensely impressed with the fifth-grade classes. Altogether, Joe Rousseau was proud to return to the great district he once served and to see what wonderful things are being done for our students. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!
On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the STC middle school students participated in an Academic Awards Ceremony. The students' families were welcomed to the event, which honored their achievements, including honors, high honors, perfect attendance, the Bulldog P. R. I. D. E. award, and other academic recognitions.

Today marks the LAST day of the Class of 2025's grade school journey! Last night, the Class of 2025 came together for a "Senior Sunset," and today, some seniors joined in on the "drive anything to school but a car" event. It was enjoyable to witness, and we wanted to share some of the photos.

The STC Kindergarten went on a field trip to Grandpa Tiny's Farm in Frankenmuth. Despite the dreary and drizzly weather, the kids had a blast playing in the corn and meeting all the animals—except Pedro (the horse), who wasn't on his best behavior.
St. Charles students partnered with the United Way of Saginaw County and other county organizations to “Spring into Service.” Our students joined students from around Saginaw County for a day of giving. Students volunteered at places such as The Eastside Soup Kitchen, The United Way, and Hidden Harvest. Other students volunteered making blankets, helping put beds together, weeding, spreading mulch, and painting. Great job, Bulldogs!
"Chip Chip Hooray" is an appreciation initiative created by our St. Charles Board of Education. We are grateful for the chance to express our thanks to our staff for their hard work.
