The STC Kindergarteners worked on color mixing to make these rainbow clouds. They then had fun creating an expression on the cloud's face. The little students' faces while designing their clouds and the designs created were all so fun to see!

STC fourth-grade students worked in art and technology to create outstanding food trucks and menus for the trucks.
STC sixth-grade students looked at artist Wayne Thiebaud for inspiration for their melty-sweet treats. They then worked on painting from the back forward to get nice, clean paintings. Lastly, they added a bold black line for a pop art look.
April showers bring May flowers!
STC second-grade students created a multimedia art piece. They used watercolor, tempera paints, oil pastels, and collage to create these beautiful pollinator bees.

Congratulations to Mrs. Frost, STC's elementary health and PE teacher, for earning her Master's Degree in Education!
The 5th-grade students at STC painted the colors of the color wheel. They then worked on adding highlights and shadows with black and white paint. The projects were finalized by creating a crayon shape with positive and negative spaces. The 5th graders did a fantastic job, thanks to the assistance of their art teacher, Mrs. Ashlee Stephens.

The Class of 2025 spent time together enjoying lunch before making sure they had their "Ducks in a Row" as graduation approaches. Getting their "Ducks in a Row" included lining up a job or apprenticeship, enlisting in the military, completing the FAFSA, applying to college, and filling out graduation surveys. Time is flying for the seniors, and new adventures await!

This week, the 6th-grade Geography students concluded their studies of Asia by creating their own books about Asia's regions.
Then, they took their books to the lower elementary to read them to the students in Mrs. Hafner's and Mrs. Coleman's classrooms.
STC high school students had the opportunity to attend a field trip to Delta College and Saginaw Valley State University. At Delta, the students participated in a scavenger hunt activity that helped them become familiar with the campus. At SVSU, the students were given a tour of the campus, an admissions presentation, and ended the day with lunch at the Marketplace.
Congratulations to St. Charles Middle/High School students, Ava K. and Korbin K., who participated in the Spring Health Careers Pipeline Program.
The Spring Health Careers Pipeline Program is hosted by Mid Central AHEC in collaboration with the CMU College of Medicine and funded by a trust managed by Huntington Bank. The program is a 7-week health career exploration program offered to 9th and 10th-grade students from the Saginaw area, providing opportunities to hear from local health professionals, practice healthcare skills, and gain additional guidance from college student mentors from Saginaw Valley State University, Davenport University, and the Central Michigan University College of Medicine.

The Tri-County Citizen newspaper has given our district a fantastic chance to highlight our upcoming events and honor the staff retiring this year after many years of dedicated service with a special edition. While it is bittersweet to see our staff retire, we celebrate their years of service and the many lives they have touched. Their influence will be felt for years to come in the achievements of their students and the strong foundation they have built within our schools. As they enter this well-earned retirement, we wish them joy, relaxation, and new adventures.

Hello STC families,
Today, Tuesday, April 15th there was an incident in the old middle school (Thurston building), in an SISD self contained classroom that required to be addressed by the St. Charles Police Department. STC students and staff were not in that part of the district at the time of the incident. Please be advised that the safety and security of our students and staff were not compromised during the incident.
